- After a break-in: report it to SAPS (10111) and get a case number before locks are replaced — your insurer may ask for it. Then request a lock replacement so the property can be secured.
- Locked out at night: wait somewhere safe and well lit, or with someone you trust, until the locksmith you can see in the app arrives.
- Key snapped in the lock: leave the broken piece where it is — pulling at it can push it further in — and request broken key extraction.
